Ganesh Chaturthi celebration is an annual affair at Salman Khan’s house. This year too, the actor’s family welcomed the deity at their Bandra residence, but without him.
Salman could not be part of the festivity as he is currently out of the country. “He has gone for medical check-up in the US, and is not in India since the last 10 days. We knew it won’t be possible for him to be at home during the festival,” says Salman’s father and veteran writer, Salim Khan.
Salman is a devotee of Ganesha, and he religiously celebrates the festival every year.
Although he couldn’t be part of the revelry this time, his father says their one-and-a-half day celebration went well. “We have been celebrating the festival for years now, and everyone from the family, except Salman, was part of it. It gives us happiness and positive energy,” says Salim.
